Principal's Welcome
On behalf of the Al Budoor School community I welcome you to our website. Staff at this school are extremely proud to be part of new schooling initiatives in Abu Dhabi and are committed to practices which exemplify excellence in education.
Al Budoor opened its doors to students at the beginning of the the 2009-10 academic year, with ten classrooms operating (five KG1, five KG 2). Since that time, because of demand for spaces in KG 2, a further class has been established. All classrooms at Al Budoor have two teachers jointly responsible for education within the room:
We are proud of the first class facilities provided at this site. We are constantly seeking to improve our resources to best support children’s learning. However we are most excited by the commitment of our staff, in building relationships with the children and providing interesting, active learning opportunities, suited to children at this stage of development.
Success in the early years of learning, is a great indicator of future success. Therefore we take our responsibility of establishing a love of learning, very seriously. This is maximized when home and school work together as an effective partnership. Therefore we look forward to establishing a spirit of cooperation and are eager to work with you, to provide the best for all Al Budoor children.

- one local, Arabic speaking teacher to ensure student understanding of curriculum and to support the children in both their Arabic and Islamic studies
- one native, English speaking teacher to support modern, educationally sound planning and pedagogical practices and to provide a good model of English language.
